These quail are very nice. The feet and feathers are clean and the meat is fresh with an appealing color and texture. The quail I had been buying from a local source were kind of raggedy looking and the meat was pale with a poor texture. The quail I received from Mike Dupuy Hawk Food are a major improvement. My freshly trapped merlin ate them readily with no flicking. I’ll be ordering from MDHF again.
